The company did not specify whether Khayat would take on the duties on an interim or permanent basis.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Amy Brady has made the decision to step down from her role \u2026 to focus on her health and wellbeing,&#8221; Gorman said. &#8220;She does so with the full support of our organization.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>Brady was hired in 2012 to serve as <ps-link>Key&#8217;s<\/ps-link> chief information officer. In that role, she has overseen technology, operations, data, servicing, cyber and physical security, and corporate real estate, according to her biography on <ps-link>Key&#8217;s<\/ps-link> website.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining <ps-link>Key<\/ps-link>Bank&#8217;s $184.4 billion-asset parent company, she was the chief information officer, enterprise technology and operations, at Bank of America. She began her career at BofA in 1987 as a &#8220;banking center manager,&#8221; according to her biography.<\/p>\n<p>Brady has appeared on American Banker&#8217;s Most Powerful Women in Banking annual rankings every year since 2016. In 2025, <ps-link><u>she was No. 12 on the list<\/u><\/ps-link>. As <ps-link>Key&#8217;s<\/ps-link> chief information officer, she oversaw about 4,500 employees and managed a budget of more than $1 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Brady is an executive committee member of the Bank Policy Institute&#8217;s technology division, and she serves on the board of trustees for Case Western Reserve University, according to her bio. Since 2019, she has been a director at the speciality solutions company DuPont, where she serves on the audit and environment, health, safety and sustainability committees.<\/p>\n<p>Under the terms of her resignation, Brady will &#8220;be entitled to receive salary continuation&#8221; for one year following the resignation date, as well as &#8220;the company&#8217;s standard health and welfare benefit plans&#8221; for the same period, the securities filing said. <\/p>\n<p>Brady&#8217;s 2024 salary was $700,000, while her overall compensation package was worth $3.4 million, according to <ps-link>Key&#8217;s<\/ps-link> most recent proxy statement.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Brady will be eligible to receive an incentive compensation award for the 2026 performance year, and she will remain entitled to the special, $1.62 million performance-based equity award <ps-link><u>granted to her and other Key executives<\/u><\/ps-link> in late 2024, following the completion of the Bank of Nova Scotia&#8217;s minority-stake investment in <ps-link>KeyCorp<\/ps-link>, according to the filing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.americanbanker.com\/news\/amy-brady-keycorps-longtime-cio-resigns-from-the-bank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Key insight: One of KeyCorp&#8217;s top executives has resigned from the bank, citing &#8220;personal health considerations,&#8221; according to a securities filing on Monday.
