\u201cElementary, my dear Watson, elementary!\u201d \u2013 Sherlock Holmes<\/p>\n

One of my favorite lines from The Maxims of Wall Street<\/em> is found on Page 158: \u201cTo make it, concentrate; to keep it, diversify.\u201d<\/p>\n

There\u2019s much wisdom in this one sentence.<\/p>\n

During your working years, you concentrate on your business, but when you retire, you do everything you can to keep your hard-earned wealth and make your investment nest egg grow.<\/p>\n

That means NOT putting all your eggs in one basket. (See Page 160.)<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve met too many retirees who got carried away investing in some \u201ccan\u2019t lose\u201d penny stock and got wiped out.<\/p>\n

Today, I believe some of the most compelling stocks in the market are those involved with commodities. You never want to bet the farm\u2026 but there\u2019s good reason to be bullish on this space.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the story.<\/p>\n

As many of you know, President Donald Trump is doing something no president has done in decades: He\u2019s engaging in an industrial policy.<\/p>\n

The Trump administration has begun taking direct stakes<\/strong> in companies that control materials that are critical to national security. The White House fears that in a war against Russia, China, or some other foe, essential commodities will become scarce and unavailable.<\/p>\n

When Trump announces that the government is investing in a company, those stock prices skyrocket.<\/p>\n

For example, in August, when the U.S. government took a 10% position in Intel<\/strong> (Nasdaq: INTC), the chipmaker, the stock was at $20 a share. By mid-January, it was over $50.<\/p>\n

When the government took a position in MP Materials<\/strong> (NYSE: MP) last year\u2026 it shot up 216% in four months.<\/p>\n

When the U.S. took a 10% stake in Lithium Americas<\/strong> (NYSE: LAC)\u2026 it tripled in three weeks.<\/p>\n

When it took a 10% stake in Trilogy Metals<\/strong> (NYSE: TMQ)\u2026 the stock launched 388% in just eight days.<\/p>\n

Every major market move starts the same way.<\/p>\n

Quietly.<\/p>\n

Long before the headlines\u2026 before the cable news debates\u2026 before Wall Street analysts scramble to upgrade their price targets\u2026 a handful of insiders position themselves early<\/em>.<\/p>\n
