The world was a lot different just four years ago.<\/p>\n

The United States was about two months into Joe Biden\u2019s presidency, public places like gyms and schools remained closed in some parts of the country due to COVID-19 restrictions, and yours truly (a recent college graduate) had just spotted an interesting job on LinkedIn at some company called The Oxford Club.<\/p>\n

Today, I\u2019m sharing an episode of Chief Income Strategist Marc Lichtenfeld\u2019s YouTube series, State of the Market<\/em>, that originally aired in March 2021. Despite how much things have changed since then, I think you\u2019ll find that Marc\u2019s advice in the episode is just as useful now as it was then.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s always important to have an exit strategy in place when you make a trade, but it\u2019s especially important when markets are as bumpy as they\u2019ve been lately.<\/p>\n

Far too many investors allow their emotions to dictate their decisions, which causes them to hang on to losing trades instead of cutting bait and moving on.<\/p>\n
